CHICKEN STEAK WITH CREAMY MUSHROOM SAUCE, GARLIC HERBED RICE AND FRIES :

Hey guys! Welcome back. A few days back my cousin and I tried a recipe and it turned out to be delicious. I’m so excited to share it with y’all. Let’s get started.

INGREDIENTS :
Chicken Breast/ Boneless Chicken Thighs
Onion powder
Garlic powder and Ginger powder/ Ginger Garlic Paste
Pepper
• Salt
Mixed Herbs
• Butter (A LOT OF BUTTER)
• 1 packet of Bella mushrooms or white mushrooms
Fresh cream
Milk
• Onions
• Garlic
• Coriander
• Parmesan or cheddar cheese
• Sona Masoori Rice
• Fries/ Potatoes

RECIPE :

For Chicken :
Marinate the chicken for 30 minutes with salt, pepper, onion powder and ginger garlic paste. Fry the chicken in Butter on a non stick pan and let it cook for 3 minutes on each side on a low flame. Once it’s fried, keep it aside.

For Creamy Mushroom Sauce :
Take a pan and fry the garlic in butter until the rawness of the garlic fades away. Then add mushrooms and once they are 70% cooked i.e., once their colour changes and size reduces, add onions. Fry mushrooms and onions until they are fully cooked. After this, add little bit of salt and pepper. Stir it well. Now add Fresh Cream (full fat) and also add half a cup of milk and stir it until it boils on a low flame. At the same time, you can also add Thyme, Mixed Herbs and Chives. Also, make sure you don’t add a lot of salt because we are gonna add cheese. Now add Grated cheese and mix it properly. Once it becomes thick, add/ place your chicken into your sauce and leave it until it boils on a very low flame.

For Garlic Herbed Rice :
Take 2 and a half cup of sona masoori rice and rinse it twice. Keep it for boiling with 4 cups of water and add salt for taste. Cook it until it’s almost done.
Heat the pan, add butter, add chopped garlic and sauté it for a while. Add your chopped cilantro/coriander and salt to taste. Sauté until it’s soft. Add your cooked rice and make sure it is on high flame. Turn off the flame after two minutes.

For French Fries :
Since most of us are lazy, just buy Yummiez or any French Fries from the nearby store and fry it.

If not, Slice the potatoes (1/2 inch or 1/4 inch thick) Soak them in cold water for atleast an hour or more cause longer the better and rinse them twice and pat them dry using paper towel. Now, Heat the oil and fry them. Remember to fry them in batches. Fry it for about 5-6 minutes until its golden brown. AND BOOM! yummy in my tummy.
